Sticky time signature marker

somehow I have ended up with a time signature marker on the master track at position 1.1.00 that I can't move or delete. I've tried right click/remove, and i've tried alt-click. the undo history says I've removed it, but it's still there. also, it has a different tempo to the project settings, and ignores the project settings when I change them, but does obey changes to the bpm on the transport. I can also double click it and change the marker's bpm, just can't get rid of it. heellllllppp! ps. this is a template project i use for drum recording. i've tried resaving the template, etc, but the damn signature is still there

same problem . . just downloaded latest version to see if it helped, it didn't.

I've had this happen a few times. I'm pretty sure there's a way to get rid of it but I can't for the life of me remember how.

As far as i understand, there's nothing wrong with that. If you don't change the project tempo, you won't see it there, but the moment you put a tsm anywhere in the project, that first marker will appear, and it's completely logical to be there. Try it, open a new project tab. The first marker is no there. Now insert a tsm at, lets say 3.3.0 with a different tempo. Now the first marker appears.

I am having this problem as well, It is quite annoying.

This is by design. If you have the Tempo envelope showing, its ALWAYS going to have a starting tempo and time signature. You can right click on the envelope and select "Clear or remove envelope" which will get rid of the entire thing. Or you can edit the starting tempo and/or time signature using the usual methods, but it always has to be there at the beginning. Its simply reflecting what is already being shown next to the Measure/Time display in the Transport section.
