or does the "Mod" sidechain automation thingy not work so well? If there's some secret to making it work correctly, I'd be more than grateful if someone would tell me.

It would help a lot finding an answer if you could describe the actual problem you're having in some detail...:)

Mmmmkay... :P ;) For example, when modulating something like a HP or LP frequency in ReaEQ, with something like a dead-on-balls steady four-to-the-floor House/Trance kick drum, there is an epic lack of control or consistency to the modulation, despite a very consistent input source. I've tried setting the parameters very, very carefully, but it's always an absolute mess.
