"Reaper has encountered a problem and needs to close" is the message I get when either I click Actions/Actions main (alternate recording in the main menu, or the help main menu: Help/html list/actions. system: win xp pro sp3 (32bit) cpu intel 6600q (quad) ram 2 gb soundcard emu 1212m. Reaper 3.2. regards oej.

is this on an empty project? have you tried renaming your reaper.ini file to reaper.bak and trying again? nice to meet you btw :)

Hello, In v3.21pre2 there was fix for possible corrupted action list when deleting custom actions. If you like you could try current preview version (v3.21pre4) on and see if you problem is solved.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. This forum is an awsome resorce!! First I changed to another old project, ... no change. then I renamed reaper.ini file to reaper.bak. Then started Reaper again, reentered the audiodata in preference and.... woilla it worked. Both problems dissapered. So to me it seems that there are some reaper preferences, or rather combination of preferences that Reaper does not like. Which? - I have no idea.
