This happend to me 3 x. I save a session and than the monitor of the Mbox will make a very loud, high and monotonous noise. The noise is extreme. It is like a 12 DB noise. What is this now? Someone ever had this?
Hey MaLa, Possible solution; -unplug Mbox and place in washing machine with bra. OK, When this happens; -is PT still running ? -does it sound like a 60 Hz hum ? do you plug/unplug cables to have this noise appear? -have anything digital connected ? Please post more details re; your setup...and a pix, if you don't mind... cheers,

Hey come on. You enjoyed the microphone in the bra idea! The noise is very high. A little lower than a high c. I didn't unplugged any cable when this happend. But I have an older Hauppauge TV-card in the pc now (MB is a Asus P 4 C 800-Deluxe) which is connected with my videorecorder (Loewe). Sound goes into my Terratec DMX 6 fire sound card front modul and the yellow one goes into the TV card. PT is still running by the way.

Out to get me ?? Sorry mate...I didn't say I don't have them...just never use them ! IMO most sound crap compared to real HW units. Those ones I use a lot ...
